OUR STORY

We are a licensed family restaurant in Minto, New Brunswick, Canada.

 

The Omega started as Richardson's canteen, owned by the Richardsons in Minto.  

 

Agnes Wilson owned and operated the restaurant, then named The Rendezvous, for years after the Richardsons.

 

Carter Quigley purchased the restaurant in 1980 and named it The Omega. Carter expanded the building over the years.

 

When Carter passed away, his children operated the restaurant for two years and decided to put it up for sale.

 

The current owners are Jason and Lisa Brogan. We purchased the restaurant in November, 2013. Lisa is Carter's niece and has worked in the food industry for 30 years, including 5 years at the Omega. Lisa's mother Doreen cooked at the Omega for 30 years.
